TarRyl JANIK

Tarryl Janik (PhD) is a Lecturer in anthropology at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and co-editor of the 2025 volume Sorcery in Amazonia: A Comparative Exploration of Magical Assault. His ethnographic fieldwork is based in Florida and Guyana South America, and his areas of interest are the anthropology of shamanism, psychedelic religions in the United States, the anthropology of law, psychedelics and law, and Indigenous studies.
